SVM Timeline
I have attempted to chronicle the rough timeline of events as they happen in the SVM series. Some of these dates are approximate because Ms. Harris occasionally uses vague references to the passage of time i.e. "a few days later" or sometimes even just "later" as opposed to "the next day." Dates where this happens are preceded by a "~" mark.
UPDATE: On August 30, 2011, the Sookie Stackhouse Companion was released. Inside is included another SVM timeline - the "official" version. Prior to the book's release, I had posted the timeline for Books 1-8, as well as the short stories that fell within the timeframe of books 1-8. The timelines are a project I started when I began this site in 2008 and I will not abandon it now. I have not read the SS Companion, nor will I read it until I have completed my own timeline for the books. At that point, I will post a comparison with commentary. Stay tuned!
