True Blood Episode Guide

"True Blood" is the television drama series airing on HBO that is based on the Southern Vampire Mystery Series (also known as The Sookie Stackhouse novels) by Charline Harris. Pitched, promoted and developed by Alan Ball of "Six Feet Under' fame, the TV series has catapulted Sookie Stackhouse and her world of supernatural beings into the sights and hearts of viewers world-wide. Each season is loosely based on the corresponding number novel in the book series, with several artistic licenses taken that delineate the True Blood series from Ms. Harris' novels.

True Blood: Season Four was officially announced by Alan Ball on January 5, 2010 and is presumably set to air during the summer of 2011. The upcoming season will loosely follow the plot of the fourth Southern Vampire Mysteries novel, "Dead to the World".
